
I am Professor of English at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, where I coordinate (since 2006) the interdisciplinary English-medium Teacher Education Master's Research and Teacher Education for Business and Economics EDU-RES, awarded the European Language Label in 2011 for innovation and creativity in education.
I am founder president of the PROSPER-ASE and now a member of the EAQUALS Accreditation Panel, inspector trainer and consultant. Combining academic research skills, with teacher training expertise (desigining and coordinating complex teacher development programmes),
I am actively involved in European projects coordinating project impact research – e.g. with a focus on implementing the EAQUALS-ALTE European Language Portfolio.
At present I am a member in the project Mapping mobility – pathways, institutions and structural effects of youth mobility in Europe (MOVE) coordinated by the University of Luxembourg and funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 scheme.
