I am Professor of English Applied Linguistics at the University of Zaragoza (UZ). My research interests include genre analysis, English for Academic Purposes, academic writing, and genre-based pedagogies. At present, I investigate science communication online from the perspective of genre analysis. I am a member of the Editorial boards of English for Specific Purposes and Journal of English for Academic Purposes (Elsevier) and Journal of English for Research Publication Purposes (John Benjamins).
